Modern nanotechnology opens the possibility of combining nanocrystals ofvarious materials with very different characteristics in one superstructure. Inthis talk, I will present our studies on the optical properties of hybrid nanostructuresmade of semiconductor quantum dots, molecules and metallic nanoparticles, focusing on the interference effect. Based on the semiclassical and complete quantumtheories, we show that the interplay among different modes leads to interestinginterference effects: the Fano effect/plasmon analogy of electromagneticinduced transparency (PEIT). By tuning the nanostructures and/or the incidentfield, we have found several novel effects in the hybrid nanocomplex, such asincident field intensity-dependent nonlinear Fano effect, reversed saturated absorptiondue to plasmon-exciton dual nonlinearity, plasmon-modulated excitation-dependentfluorescence, strong coupling induced optimal nanostructures (and related plasmon-enhancedForster energy transfer), and configuration modulation of PEIT.

张伟:北京应用物理与计算数学研究所,研究员。1998年于中科院理论物理研究所获博士学位,1998至2000年在北京应用物理与计算数学研究所做博士后,2001至2007年在美国做研究学者,2007年8月至今,研究员,北京应用物理与计算数学研究所。
张伟在低维凝聚态/纳米体系的光学、电输运性质等方面做了系统的研究工作,在包括在国际顶级期刊Nature [IF 38.14]、Advanced Materials [IF 18.96] Nano Lett. [IF 13.78]、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. [IF 13.73]、ACS Nano [IF 13.33]、J. Am. Chem. Soc. [IF 12.11]、Phys. Rev. Lett. [IF 7.65]等发表论文(IF:影响因子), 发表SCI论文80余篇,是多个国际知名期刊的审稿人。2014年获“于敏数理科学奖”、中物院科技创新奖。
